Yesterday, I finally finished the last of my writing obligations for the month of July. It has been a hell of a month, and though a lot of excitement happened in it, I'm happy to see the back side. It went on to get me my first-ever honorable mention from Ellen Datlow, and the anthology itself was nominated for a Shirley Jackson Award, so it's a story I'm pretty proud of.
